With the upcoming release of the long-awaited competition for Intel, the AMD Ryzen looks to take the CPU markets from the hands of Intel. Recently, in a Thailand based retail outlet along with the pre-order pricing leaked.
The box art is really slick, with a black exterior with that minimalistic single logo on the front, which is definitely better looking than any of the Intel’s released product boxes. The Ryzen 7 1800X is listed at 18,790 Baht ($537) which is a little bit higher than the reported $499 (even though regional price difference is a thing).
It is unclear when the Ryzen processors will release, but it can be certain that they are providing an extreme performance increase of similar (even higher end) Intel processors. AMD is planning to release a good number of processors for all different price ranges.
